Conferința Renew Europe: Abordarea Strategică privind Marea Neagră

I spoke at an event organized by the European Parliament Office in Romania with students from the University of Bucharest. Our discussion focused on the measures taken by the European Union to combat disinformation, recent examples of massive disinformation campaigns targeting my colleagues, the USR ministers, and the role each of us plays in promoting critical thinking, truth, and accurate information. Young people are on the front lines of defense in the online world against this new type of conflict - hybrid warfare - which aims to undermine democracy and European values. Following an excellent debate, I left feeling confident in the ability of the younger generation to adapt and meet the challenges of identifying and tackling disinformation.
